How to Use the Sisu Talents Pomodoro Timer
What’s a Pomodoro Timer Anyway?
The Pomodoro technique is basically a fancy way of saying “work in focused chunks with breaks in between.” You work for 25 minutes (that’s one “pomodoro”), take a 5-minute break, repeat. After four rounds, you take a longer break. It’s surprisingly effective at keeping you focused without burning out.
The Sisu Talents Pomodoro Timer helps you do exactly this while tracking your work tasks. Let’s get you set up.
Timer Settings
Click into Settings to customize your work rhythm:
- Work Duration – How long you want to focus (default is 25 minutes, but you can adjust this in case needed)
- Short Break Length – Quick breathers between work sessions (usually 5 minutes)
- Long Break Length – Your reward after completing four pomodoros (typically 15-30 minutes)
Notifications
Choose your preferred sound for when the timer reaches its end.
Don’t want sounds? Just untick the notification box and work in silence.
Appearance
Make it yours:
Dark Mode – Tick the box if you’re team dark mode (your eyes will thank you)
Color Theme – Pick your vibe:
- Sisu Gradient (the classic)
- Forest Green
- Bear Brown
- Sunrise Yellow

Task Management
Here’s where the Sisu Talents Pomodoro gets actually useful:
- Select a task using the radio button to track which pomodoros belong to which project
- Mark tasks as complete when you’re done (feels good, doesn’t it?)
Pro tip: If you have open orders or contracts, select them from task management to automatically track how many hours you’ve worked on specific projects. Makes invoicing way easier when you charge by the hour.
